A true national treasure, Fred has delighted audiences for over 30 years, at comedy festivals throughout the world and, closer to home, with annual shows at the Edinburgh Fringe and 18 years hosting Macaulay & Co on BBC Radio Scotland. A regular on all the top panel shows from Have I Got News for You to Mock the Week, Fred is a much loved and respected performer on the stand-up circuit. Not bad for a former accountant who started out as warm-up man for Rory Bremner’s TV shows. Tonight Rory returns the favour as he hosts his friend for an unmissable hour of stand-up, stories and chat.
