But keeping magical beasts a secret isn’t an easy task, especially with arch-villain, Jasper Hornswoggle, hot on their heels… Join bestselling children’s author, Abi Elphinstone, as she talks about her new book: Ember Spark & The Thunder of Dragons. Abi will be revealing where she finds her ideas – from shower gel bottles and street signposts to her own adventures in the Arctic and Mongolia – as well as showing kids how to plan their own stories, dream up titles and nail that opening line. This is an event that champions the joy of reading and writing while encouraging kids to be curious, courageous and kind.
There is NO entry charge for adults accompanying children to our family events. Please note, however, that our events are ticketed (unless otherwise stated), so remember to put your FREE adult ticket in the basket at the time of booking. Tickets must be booked in advance for all events.
