Paula has more than twenty years’ experience in the events and arts sector, and first became involved in Borders Book Festival in its inaugural year in 2004. She co-programmes with fellow Creative Director, Alistair Moffat, and is also responsible for ensuring a wide range of other aspects of the festival are successfully delivered, including fundraising, the education programme, and the Family Book Festival. In addition to her various commitments at Borders Book Festival, some of Paula’s more recent other roles have included director of MacArts, a community arts and performance venue in Galashiels, and Interim Children & Schools Programme Director at Edinburgh International Book Festival in 2019. Her interests are reading, reading, and reading.
