Jim is a Chartered Accountant and holds a BAdmin (Honours) degree from The University of Dundee.
He joined Mainetti in 1992 as a Financial Manager, having previously worked with Ernst and Young. During his time with Mainetti he has held a number of senior financial and management roles including leading the UK’s recycling and reuse operation, serving as the Group’s Financial Controller and being the Regional Director for Northern Europe.
Married with two children, he lives in Melrose and has been a trustee of the Borders Book Festival since September 2017.
